Not all hotels are created with an office workspace in mind. Case in point: this 2-star hotel in Thailand had a desk space of about a foot, leaving little room for my keyboard. It was so uncomfortable to work that my wrist started cramping up. But as you can see in this picture I did find a solution. So remember this pro-tip the next time you travel: if you need improved ergonomics while working, use a pair of socks!
