Michael’s Notes:
I kept seeing references to Stark Beer, a craft brewery located right in Bali, but none of the places that offered it had any in stock. It was as if they went out of business recently and the restaurants had not yet removed their marketing material.

Thankfully this was not the case, as I found the mythical beer on offer at a delicious Vietnamese restaurant on one of our last days in Ubud. The never-ending search raised my expectations somewhat, so sadly the taste ended up being a bit of a disappointment.

I'm still happy I found it, pleased with the knowledge that I wouldn't have to return to Bali to continue my search (although I would return to Bali for many other reasons).
