The following morning we did check the one thing that Dunedin is known for: Baldwin Street &#8211; The Steepest Street in the World.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2125\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2125\" style=\"width: 2265px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.anothertimezone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_5834-copy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.anothertimezone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_5834-copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2265\" height=\"2560\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2125\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The street did not go up in a straight angle, but more of a curve, slowly getting steeper as you climbed.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2125\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2125\" style=\"width: 2560px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.anothertimezone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_5850-copy-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.anothertimezone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_5850-copy-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1707\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2125\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">We experimented with different angles, tilting the camera to match the incline of the road.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2125\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2125\" style=\"width: 2560px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.anothertimezone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_5851-copy-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.anothertimezone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_5851-copy-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1811\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2125\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Here&#8217;s a shot from the top. There were actually some tourists who drove all the way to the top. I didn&#8217;t even consider it, thinking how cruel it would be to put Fernadette through such a workout!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><b>Note: I have finally resumed posting after a hiatus of almost ten years! Each blog post date will still match the date of when we were there, but I&#8217;m actually writing this on September 7, 2026.
